New Construction

Plans for Expansion

In 2008, Crossroads achieved funding and a land permit for the construction of a new residential facility at 54 East Ramsdell Street in New Haven. The new unit will house the Women's Residential Program and Amethyst House, Crossroads' program for pregnant women and women residing with children in treatment.

The new state-of-the-art facility will enhance Crossroads' gender-responsive services for women through a physical space designed specifically for women and women with children. Dr. Stephanie Covington, a national expert on the implementation of treatment services for women, is a consultant on the project.

Breaking of ground for construction began in September 2008 with an anticipated opening of summer 2010.

On-Site Primary Care at Crossroads

Cornell-Scott  Hill Health Center of New Haven has secured a license to establish a satellite primary care clinic at Crossroads. This exciting achievement will allow persons served at Crossroads to receive primary care on-site, as well as facilitate the admissions process by offering on-site assessments of physical health.
